Vehicle Specific
BMW steering wheels are not universal.
Similar-looking BMW wheels can use different airbags, buttons, paddles, heating systems and internal components. We verify the configuration before confirming the order.

Why is there no instant checkout?
BMW steering wheels are vehicle-specific. We first verify the airbag type, controls, mounting configuration and relevant factory functions before confirming your order.
What do you need from me?
Your BMW model, model year and a clear front-facing photo of your current steering wheel. We may request additional details or the VIN if needed.
Will my original buttons still work?
Supported original controls are retained when the correct configuration is selected. New-looking buttons do not automatically add functions your vehicle did not originally support.
Will paddle shifters work?
Existing factory paddle functions can be retained with a compatible configuration. Adding paddles to a vehicle that did not originally support them may require a separate retrofit.
Can steering wheel heating be retained?
Heating can be retained only where the selected construction and original vehicle equipment support it. Carbon fiber sections themselves cannot be heated.
Can an E-Series use a newer style steering wheel?
Selected BMW E-Series vehicles can use supported modern-style conversions. Compatibility depends on the exact chassis, controls and required components.
What does the LED display show?
Supported data can include RPM, speed, temperature information and progressive shift-light LEDs. Available data varies by vehicle.
Is an airbag included?
Airbag supply and compatibility are handled individually. BMW airbags are vehicle-specific and must match the correct shape and mounting configuration.
Airbag systems are safety-critical and installation should be completed by an appropriately qualified automotive professional.
Do you offer installation?
Selected installation services are available by appointment in the UAE and Northern Germany. Other customers can use a qualified local BMW or automotive specialist.
